New Pelion Hut from Arm River Track - 23 - 25 March

Bushwalk Australia forum 5th anniversary get together was at New Pelion.  ART is a steep start but not too bad after that, except it started snowing at the car park just as we arrived.  4.75 hrs later and we were at the hut.  Not pitching the tent in the snow and luckily there was enough room in the hut.  Noisy but dry - ish.  All images from Saturday morning

Tarn Shelf Mt Field NP 25 Dec 2011

I spent a glorious day walking the Tarn Shelf Lake Webster circuit at Mt Field NP.  The day was warm and sunny - a touch of sunburn - absolutely wonderful.  Except lousy for photography.  It was slightly cloudy at the start, hence all these images are from Tarn Shelf itself.  I was too knackered and it was too bright after that.  6 and a bit hours, inc lunch and numerous rest stops on the climbs....
